What tire size do you recommend.

Hi guys. I have an 05 xlt excab 2wd and I am about to install a 2.5" leveling kit up front with a 1.5" block in the rear and I've decided to run Nitto Terra Grapplers on the factory 17x7.5 wheels. Would it be safe or possible to run 295 70 17 or 305 70 17? I pull a bagged and bodied 97 F150 with this so would I need to mess with the gears too? Thanks for the help.

I'd stick to the 295/70/17 out of those two, I have a feeling the 305 is gonna cause some rubbing because it's almost a 34" tire.

And depending how often you'll be towing and what your factory gear ratio is, gear's could be a good idea.

I think I have 3.73s if I'm not mistaken. When you say rubbing, what would be rubbing exactly?

With the 305's it'd possibly rub the control arms or frame while turning, the inside of the rubber part of the wheel well or the front valence.
