Factory FX4 20's, powdercoat?

Ok so I really want a set of those factory FX4 20's for my truck, and I really want the black ones. But they are really hard to find. Cani have a set of the grey ones powdercoated satin black? How tough would the finish be?

Any body shop could paint them whatever color you want.

Right. Powdercoating is the best choice followed by automotive grade paint. Both will be more durable than just spraying them with a rattle can.

Paint would hold up just like the paint that's already on the wheels. Powdercoaters are harder to come by than painters.

I looked into this and was told by 2 places that the stripping process would bw somewhat destructive to the smooth finish. I then found some takeoff black 20's for 1k shipped with scorpion STRs Sold the tires for $500, put my own on. Just keep looking.
