Ballistic jesters

I'm looking at ballistic jester wheels. I'm just not big on the red lip. Does anyone know any other black wheels around te same price and help explain the back spacing to me? I'm running a 2 inch hellbent steel leveling kit. Also doing 18x9 inch wheels. The price I found for the jesters were 543$ so I want to keep it around there. Thanks!!!

As far as the red, mine came with the plastic and chrome pieces in separate bags, so I just didn't put them on.

I'd go with 5 inches of backspacing. A 9 inch wheel with 5 inches of bs will stick out 2 inches farther than your OEM wheels.

I've never understood backspacing at all. I'm deciding between getting the rims now and using my stock michelins since I ony have 1,500 miles on the truck or just waiting till I need new tires.

Do you want the tires to sit flush with the bedsides or stick out to give it a wider stance? The less backspacing you have the more they will stick out. Usually lower backspacing wheels have a negative offset, around -12 offset with 4.5 inches bs. Higher bs wheels, say around 6 will have a positive offset around 30 or so which would be similar to stock for a nine inch wide custom wheels.
