2000 expedition brakes pulsate
I hace a 2000 Ford expedition XLT 4X4. I just replaced all brakes and all rotors with new an bled system.
I still have a pedal pulsating feel as if anti locks are engaging when braking.
Ant ideals
Speed senor?
Abs sensor?
Any way to test ABS?

Thats my thinking. Ordere one from Auto zone $117.00. it is in will try to do it tomorrow. Also going to post pics of my front rotors that rusted through and came off in 2 pieces each and rear rotors not far behind. Gpot 13 years and 92k out of them.
And in the process of self-destructing they took out at least one speed sensor.
The smart (and safe) owner would have replaced them at the proper time.
BTW - in the future you should mention these important facts up front... this was not a "rotor change". This was a complete brake failure that did lots of damage due to lack of proper maintenance. Change your rears immediately, if you haven't already.
Not a brake failure
I posted all correctly if this was a complete brake failure I would have said so, Brakes all worked and stopped fine. The front left pulsated. Pads were all 7/10 or better rotors were not warped. The rotors rusted in half in front but were well within Ford specs for thickness and not warped therefore no requirement is stated in owners manual to change them ***** nilly.
I changed them looking for pulsating problem as consenus on this forum and other sites was warped rotors. This was not the case. After replacing all rotors and brakes I found a rotor ruste dinto 2 parts due to corrosion at seam. However vehicle stopped on a dime other than pulsating. After replacing all 4 rotors and pads vehicle still stopped on dime but pulsated. After putting new abs sensor on drivers side todat front whell. It corrected the pulsating problem. It did seem like u need to drive and hit brakes at different speeds before sensor starts to work correctly. I assume a little time is needed for system to read new sensor and make adjustments or something along those lines. After a 5 minute drives with lots of stopping it worked fine.
It appears the new liquid (they changed formula 3 years ago in Pennsylvania) they spray on roads before snow storms is very corrosive if u happen to drive on it when they spray it wet. I do find it curious that the rotor rusted in 2 but the rest of the undercarrige has no rust?
But regardless the brakes do not pulsate no more.and i fixed my odometer with help from this forum

Now putting a new clarion 2 dim radio with blue tooth in vehicle tomorrow.
Then a cruise to S. Carolina.
