I have the terra-grapplers on my 2500hd, reasonably quiet, ride & look good. I would buy another set. Toyo makes good tires too though, my wife had a set on her suburban, more of a steet tread, lasted around 60,000 miles. You'll be fine with either one. I can't help you any on the sizes, good luck.

anybody?? decided to go with terra grapplers just need to know if i should go with the 34.09 diameter or the 32.9 diameter. again dont want to much power loss or re gearing.

The 275x60 is a P rated tire that will ride smoother but still have the all terrain look's. The 275x65 will look better due to them being 1 inch taller but they will ride rougher and cause you to lose some mileage and performance.

Last I knew,

Nitto and Toyo were made by the same rubber company and they are sister company's.

I personally would go with 275 65 20 LR:E BFG TA K/O

But can you really trust sister companies when they are already marketing under different names? I don't know, but if they cannot be honest with you during the sales process, can you really expect them to treat you right after you're a customer.
Always do your homework on this stuff and you'll never get taken for a ride (pun intended).

I've had three sets of the Toyo AT's.
I've also had two sets of the BFG AT/KO's

This is my personal experience with them. ymmv

My BFG's lasted easily twice as long as the Toyo's have.
The Toyo's lasted two years maximum which doesn't seem enough time given a $1000 price tag.
As for traction and performance the Toyo's walked all over the BFG's in deep sugar sand, mud, ice, and most of all in deep snow. BFG was superior on dry pavement and hardpacked dirt.
My off road conditions are about 40% deep sugar sand, 40% snow, and 20% mud. I just wish they would last longer. I'm up for a new set this week and I'm torn between them myself. Go with BFG and get a longer lasting tire or go back with Toyo and get a better performing tire.
Toyo's were also a much better tire under a heavy trailer load also. Which with a Travel Trailer is making me lean towards getting another new set of Toyo's.

From my experience between Toyo and Nitto is much like Chevy and GMC trucks. They're nearly identical and made of the same stuff. It's all marketing. Nitto's are marketed for a younger crowd by adding stuff like fancy lettering, lighting bolts, flames and stuff. Toyo is a more main stream looking tire for those not wanting to be so flashy.

I'd go with the Toyos or BFG's . Always had great luck with both. My neighbor went with Nittos and liked them when they were new but said they wore quickly even though he rotated them often.

For an AT you have got to get the BFG AT/KO. People get 80k miles out of them, i've seen guys get 65k on 3/4 ton trucks before. Great traction off the pavement IME as well, and they weigh less so you will get better fuel mileage.

In that case, I would highly suggest the Toyo AT. Just have realistic expectations for tread life on an off-road tire. And be ready for snow/ice traction better than most ice radials.
