carquest blue pads

Does carquest still offer the "blue" brake pads for front 04-08 body style? I have looked everywhere , including their home page and nothing. Does anyone know? also I read where Raybestos makes these pads, of which I can find easily. Theres no carquest locally, and not sure if theres one in the next closest town which is at least 2 1/2 hr drive. Yes, i've got TQ, Hawks, and EBC. I'm just doing my own testing I guess you could say. Currently running the EBC green stuff, they stop very well but dust is rediculous. (stock rotors and daily driver) rossford....05 scab

As far as I know they are still available, it's their line of pads, but yes are Raybestos made. Just get regular Raybestos or others but I'd suggest semi-metallics.

thanks blue....i did find some Raybestos online, at about 45 for std set, and 62 bucks for a premium version.(non ceramic) The higher priced ones had the vertical slot in the center, the lower priced ones did not. I think these would be more prone to make noise. I also think these are a good equivalent to the TQ's. Do you know if that slot really does much for you? other than a little ventilation. thanks rossford

I think they just offer the Golds now. I believe that's what I ended up with the last time swapping out my pads. Yea, just call Carquest and see what the deal is, - it's something like that. I've never had any Carquest pad squeak or dust up the rims. The Blues started out with a 2 year warranty, way back when. I've always used them and haven't had to pay for a set of pads since 2000 - present. Yea, I'd call them.
