295/70-18 Trail Grapplers on -12mm offset wheels

Anyone have pictures of 295/70-18 Trail Grapplers on wheels with a -12 offset? Thinking of putting a set of on my son's 05 FX4 Supercrew, but I'm worried they may stick out a little too much. Thanks!

how wide is the wheel...ive got some pics on two of my trucks of a wheel with a -12 offset.one is leveled and the other is lifted. both with a 12.50 wide tire and 9 inch wide wheel.
Those tires are about an inch narrower then mine, but you will get the idea when you see my pics in my gallery.

I would be more worried about rubbing than if they stick out too far. Without trimming they will rub pretty bad with that offset. A positive offset will allow largest tire fitment. Similar to stock specs will allow largest tire fitment if u only have a level. Do up have a lift on it?

We're looking at the 18x9 XD Spy wheels. I also forgot to mention that we'll be going with a 2.5 inch level.

Even though it won't give u a wide stance a +18 or 30 will fit those tires much better. The -12 is usually best for trucks with a four or six inch lift to clear the new suspension components. It can be done but will require some trimming. Here is a member with 5.71 backspacing which I believe is +18 offset and trail grapplers.

This has been an ongoing debate with some people on this site. ive owned a 05 and 06 both leveled with different wheel combos. I prefer a wider stance, but if you check my gallery the black 05 is 2.5" leveling kit with 35s and i did zero trimming with the cooper stt tires that i used. The offset was really close to stock though, thats why i was able to achieve this. the 2006 had a 3" level and the same specs as your wheel you are looking at. I had to trim the front valance and i sometimes rubbed on the fender flares, but they were packed with dirt and small pebbles and it pushed them out a little in the inner fender well. I ran 33s with that setup. So if you dont mind trimming to make them fit you will be ok, but if it were me id either change to the positive offset or keep the -12 and drop a tire size.

Thanks for all the input. We went with a 2" AS leveling kit, the machined XD Addicts (+18 offset) and Nitto Trail Grapplers in 295/70/18. We only had to trim two very small pieces of plastic trim.

The total for wheels and tires was right at $2000. I could've gotten them a little cheaper online, but decided to go with a local shop instead.

Any more pics from different angles? I would like to see how far they stick out past the fenders.

Looks great, those wheels and tires match your truck perfectly. You happy with the stance?

Thanks! The stance looks exactly like we had hoped it would.
