2011 Offset question
2011 Offset question
I tried the search function and its not giving me the info I'm looking for. My buddy has a 2011 f150 ecoboot 4x4 and is looking at getting 33x12.50R18 Toyo MTs with some 9" wide wheels. I myself have an 08 F150 5.4 4x4 with the same wheel width and tire combo on mine running +18mm offset and 1.5" level. I can't find any info on the factory rim back space for his truck, so my question is if he gets the same offset will they tuck the same under his truck? His bolt pattern will be the same too, right?
Also, as far as I can tell the wheel wells are the same size so he should haven't any rubbing with the 1.5" lift like me should he?
I hate to throw a whole whack of questions in one post, but would there be rubbing issues with a +30mm offset? He may want them tucked even more than I have.
Thanks

Same. Not much changed between the two trucks in regards to wheels. 1.5 level will easily clear the 33s. Wheels specs will look the same on his truck. The +30 would be real close to stock and still not rub. Maybe stick out a little more.

I have 33 Toyo Mts on wheels with a 0 offset and a 2" leveling kit, Not even close to rubbing.. Your buddy can for +18 offset with 33s without a leveling kit, I had my old XD Monsters with 33s on stock suspension before I bought the new BMF wheels and installed the level. He is good to go.
