BFG A/T's or Terra Grapplers?

So I'm finally pulling the trigger on some bigger tires. I have 18 inch FX4 rims and I am really pushing towards the terra grapplers, but I've hear people are only getting around 20,000 miles off them. This is my daily driver where I drive about 25 miles round trip every day with a little of that being a dirt/gravel road. I don't go off roading or anything so I don't need something outstanding in mud, I just want a good looking 22 inch tire that won't wear out on me very quick.

All of the being said, should I get the terra grapplers or BFG A/T's?

BFG AT KO. Best AT ever.

Terra grapplers. I had a set for about 50000 miles with at least 20% tread left

BFG A/T's... Sure you can go the cheaper route.. But.... You get what you pay for.

If there good enough for a Raptor, there good enough for my truck.

Ooohhh...that's a good point. Nice sales pitch:rocker:

I had the Nitto's. Great tire, awesome wear. At around 50K, I got tired of waiting on the tread to wear out and got rid of them. Never had them off road unfortunately, but didn't expect much. It's a mild A/T so I wasn't expecting miracles anyways. However, the most boring tire I have ever owned. Yea, they're great, but they have zero personality. I was tired of looking at them looooong before time to replace.

Also, The nitto's tread depth new look like they have 50k miles on them compared to the Bfg's. IMHO

I have had both the BFGs and the Nittos. I would Recommend the Nittos, I would never run BFG's A/T after running my Terra Grappler I have about 42k on mine and they have about another 4/5k left.

I've had both and they are maybe two of the best AT's on the market. The BFG's are more expensive but may last a little longer. The Nitto's which I have now are doing great with about 14k miles on them so far with zero problem's. Look's like they can go 50 to 60k miles easily. Either tire would be a great choice.

Are you keeping the 18 inch wheel's or going with 22's? 'Ya got my old mind confused! :D

Absolutely. In regards to performance, you're splitting hairs on this one. If budget is not the factor, then base your choice on which one looks the best...literally. Sounds silly, but you're seriously not going to get a bad tire so you might as well make a decision based on something that makes you happy.

Go with the Trail Grapplers! That's my next tire.

My BFGs have lasted almost 50k and they might have another couple k left in em, but not much.

haha i meant 33 inch tire not 22! Keeping the old 18's.

I'm 18, going through college with 4 jobs and this truck payment, so it looks like I will be going with the terra grapplers!

That's a good way to burn yourself out!

If I were you I'd get the cheapest set of tires I could find, at least until the truck is paid off.

I blew a lot of money on stupid stuff when I was younger and looking back, I wish I hadn't.

Yeah 2 of the jobs are from home so it's not too bad. Just ordered the tires and have the level kit coming in tomorrow. Will they go in with no rub? Got them for $1060.49 free lifetime rotations/flat fixes

great choice i have had bfg's in A/T and M/T both are great tires although i now have the nittos and they are great. I cant say one bad thing about them. they out perform BFG A/T on wet pavement and snow with no comparison. cant say about offroad/mud or wear as i havent taken the nittos muddin yet and they are only about a month 3-4k old but the ride is outstanding.
