My dad did the switch from BFG A/Ts on his F350 a few years ago after seeing how the Nittos worked on my old truck. He says the same thing, he's done with BFGs. They are way overpriced, yet the Terra Grapplers perform better.

Last fall, his F350 dragged a Chevy 3500, 2 Dodge 3500s and a cement truck out of his muddy backyard when they were building his barn. The pickups all had BFG A/Ts. He had to drive through their ruts to get the back ones out from behind the barn.

That's my only complaint with the Terra Grapplers, the sidewalls are boring. I wish Nitto would update them with more aggressive sidewalls. The BFGs are plain too, so they're even there.

I finally got a set of Nittos for my FX4. I kept going back and forth trying to decide between tires that I know perform well vs something that looks a little better, but doesn't work as well. Wish I'd just bought the TGs right away.

I will be picking them up tomorrow or Wednesday, whenever my level kit comes in!

Will I need to calibrate my speedo? If so, how do I do it without having to get a tuner?

EDIT: Just checked the tracking number, it'll be here Wednesday. Pretty happy!

On that note, anyone know how to install a level kit in the DFW area near Wylie/Plano and has a little bit of spare time?

48???? DANG that's high for a D rated tire. What's the max pressure. If you've had no problems then that's great, but seems like that would be a rough ride and wear the centers out faster. I always 38f 34r on mine.

Sweet! They look really good on your truck. I have to say they are some of the best tires I have ever owned. I try to rotate them every oil change, wear has been great. They are on my truck in my garage pics.. Like I was saying about inflation pressure, I went up and down from 45 to 50 and settled on 48 as a everyday pressure. I do tow stuff alot and have a 4wd. You may be happier closer to 44-45.

Enjoy!

Luckily I get free rotations from the place I bought them for for life! I usually do it on my own but this'll save some time!
