Harley Lugnuts 6L3Z-1120-BA
Harley Lugnuts 6L3Z-1120-BA
I know that this has been discussed at length on here before. However, not recently and I am green lighted to go on getting them so I can use my center caps. The prices seem to have skyrocketed. Tasca.com, who had the best price I could find previously, now wants $24 a piece! (noticed they aren't in the vendor listing anymore)
Where is the best place to get these redicuously priced Lug nuts?

Thanks guys. Stealth- I previously read your thread about the Dormans. It's were I got the part #. Great info. Your truck and info made up my mind to get these rims.
Racing88- Thanks for the link. I can not get over how much these things are. You'd think they were for a Porsche.

If you're not in a big hurry just check ebay every week or so. I gave about $2 a piece for mine and they're new.

An update to my original post and question.
When I began my search for these lugnuts I found the Dormans #611-288.
I believe these are the ones stealth used and the center caps did not stay on. A more recent search on dorman's website listed a different model # than before-611-290. I went to Advanced Auto Parts and ordered a set (which they said I could return if they were wrong) for $70. Turns out a set is 10 lugnuts???? Anyway, they fit perfectly. Caps snap on as they should. I took a lug off my father in laws limited with the same lugs and they appear identical. $140 for 20 and a set of locking lugs later I'm finally sporting my caps.

I've had the same problem like many others. Bottom line is that the Dorman lugs do not work. I bought 611-290 as equivalent to Ford OEM Part# 6L3Z-1120-BA and they did not hold the caps on. Dorman needs to quit claiming to have an equivalent. You must buy the Ford OEM lugs for it to work. Trust me as I learned the hard way! learned from another forum that this is the place for the best price http://www.fordsupercenter.com/oem.php at about $12.86 each
