~33 tires on factory 18 Chrome Package?

Hey all,

Not sure if I want to go aftermarket wheels or not, but definitely need a bigger tire with more aggressive tread. Is anyone running a 33-ish tire on the factory 18" chrome package wheels? I'm most likely going with the Terra Grapplers but not 100% yet. Any pictures would be great.

Thanks,

Nunya

Thanks for the replies. Fogducker has the wheels I have, so it was nice to see the pics. Any issues, Fogducker?

Shifty, what size tires were you running? Any issues?

Thanks for the pics,

Nunya

They are 296/65 18 Duratracs, and when I had them on the stock rims I had no issues of them rubbing anywhere and were about 1/4 inch away from the upper ball joint.

No issues at all, they are a good bit heavier than stock but they are a much better tire. My father liked mine so much he got a set too.

Shifty 219,

Off topic... Are the lights behind the grille the newest setup, or is the light bar on the bumper? I was thinking of putting some lights behind the grille but didn't know if they would add that much light.

Thanks, now back to the topic at hand.

Woods, the bull bar in my sig is my newest setup. The lights behing the grill was my first, it was ok of a setup up. The only thing to complain about way the mount I built wasnt very stable, so going down back roads the light would vibrate. I couldve added in more to the mount but I wanted to try out the light bar

What kinda lift/level you got on that rig?

If I'm not mistaken, what I've been told, you can clear 33 x 12.50's on stock 4x4 suspension without leveling or any lift.

Got a friend looking at 295/65R18 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs on his '04 FX4 with KMC Rockstars on it. I wanna make sure it's gonna fit.

I have 3 inch spacer and a 1.5 block in the rear.
These tire will clear with no lift on rims close to stock specs with no lift. With the backspacing my procomps have (4.75 bs), they might. I rub very slightly on the inner fender while in reverse at full lock with the lift.
