Biggest tires possible!!!

I'm getting new tires this spring for my truck and I'm looking to go as big as possible without destroying my truck.
I have an '04 SCrew 4x4 with a 2.5" level. I was running 33x12.5 mud grapplers last summer and they worked alright but I want to run 35"s this summer. I have 18" Eagle Alloy 197's right now which I plan to use. They have a 4.5" backspace.
This stuff confuses the hell out of me so please help me out!!

Your best bet is to add a body lift and then get the 35's.

There are some that will disagree with me, but if you are leveled with that offset id stick with 33's so you dont have rubbing issues. Are they 9 or 10 inches wide?
And what do you mean "worked alright"? There will be some trimming to do to fit those, if you are ok with that you might check out (06"ford) he did this on a couple of his trucks. You will have to PM him though, looks like he removed the pics, but heres the post he did

To fit 35s with a 2.5" level, you will need more backspacing; probably 5" to 5.5". 4.5" will cause too much rubbing unless you're willing to do some serious cutting on your fenders and front bumper

the tires i was running were 33"x12.5" grapplers and by worked alright i mean they did rub a little on full turns and i did trim the front valance to avoid any major rubbing. I was looking into a 3" body lift to just avoid any problems which is sounding like my best bet right now

35 works, but I prefer to recommend 33 myself.
