need help with the TPMS
I put on new wheels and tires the other day and assumed that my truck didn't have the TPMS..... IDIOT!!! Being stupid is expensive. Any way, they didn't put sensors in my wheels and honestly i don't want to have them put in but the TPMS light is on and i'd like to find a way to shut it off. if not i'll have sensors installed but if anybody knows how to shut the light off without tearing the light out i'd appreaciate some help on the issue.
There is no way to shut it off, and is illegal for anyone to do so. It is a federally mandated safety feature.
You can get aftermarket sensors that are the valve stem mounted types that do not require the straps, etc to mount. Even if you reuse the OE sensors, you will have to get new mounting straps.
