2008 FX4 Brake Questions

When you replace the brake pads, is it necessary to pop the cap on the brake fluid reservoir, or is it already vented?

For any of you that have replaced your rotors with dimpled and slotted rotors, did you have any break in lessons learned or advise on best way to break these in?

yes, and yes

yes, you should take the cap off the reservoir.

yes, it is vented. But the slit in the diaphragm is so small that it is better to just take the cap off while you compress the calipers.
