Tires on 2003 f150 Screw

I have a 2003 f150 screw 5.4 v8 2wd and i want to get new tires. Currently i have 255/70/16. Im looking to go bigger and am most likely getting a 3" PA body lift. Im looking at getting a 285/75/16 keeping stock rims. My biggest concern is that the bgger tires will casue parts to wear faster. I dont want to put on anything that will cause my truck in any way to ware faster or more aggressively. Could/Would a 285 cause problems or wearing of the tranny or gears or anything? If so what about 265s? i want a noticiable difference in height....

You should be fine with a 33 inch tire like a 285/75-16 or 305/70-16. I don't that the increase in wear and tear would even be noticable.

2.3" leveling kit? What's that? Yes you can fit a a narrow 33 like 11.50 or so on a leveling kit. But don't run a leveling kit over 2" without getting aftermarket control arms.
