Brown tires...anybody??

I have a fairly new set of Nitto Trail Grapplers on my truck. I noticed the other day that they looked brown, so I used some bleche white tire cleaner the next time I washed it. A lot of grime came off of them, but now they look terrible (not black). This happened with the last set of Nittos I had on my other truck. Anybody had this or have some tips on keeping tires black? I have never used any other tire products, so I can't imagine what has caused this discoloration.

It's natural process of tires called "blooming". Do a search in the detailing section (or Google) and you can find all the info you need.

I use Bleche White as well, but use a large, soft brush to both scrub the sidewall as well as evenly spread the cleaner. Wash immediately and it should come out great. Does for me every time.

Agree, same here. I think OEM break dust issues does not help either, at least in my case. The good news is they do come clean.

If they are clean but still discolored, maybe try a tire dressing to bring the coloring back.
