New Shoes - 33's on 2wd with no level

Just put some 295/70/17s (33.4") Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2011 F150 2wd. I was too impatient for my leveling kit to show in the mail so I had them put on early. There is no rub at all so if anybody out there has thought about adding some 33's without a level - it can be done.

Looks good. Will look even better after the level. No rubbing even at full turn? That's good to know.

No rubbing over bumps, or turning while over bumps/inclines?

You can fit 33 inch tall tires on a 2009+ 2wd with the rear dropped 2 inches with shackles. Did it on a truck for the guys at Extang Tonneau Covers. 275/60R20's on their regional sales manager's truck. Not one issue with rub or any fitment issues.

That lot I was parked in is full of bumps and there was no rubbing turning all the way to the left. Ill go out tomorrow and see if I can actually make it rub.

Shouldn't rub at all.

The truck I spoke about that had the back lowered 2 inches had zero rub at all. Full lock both ways, over bumps(we got enough of them here in Michigan), nothing.

The guy drives the truck everyday and has no issues with rub.

How much higher does it sit now that you put the tires on? Do you still have to "sit down" in your truck or is it a "step up" now?
