Front Brake Problem

Brand new to forum . . .

2000 F150 XL 4.6L AT 165,000 miles, front disc, rear drum. . .

Brakes were REAL bad, grinding like bad. Driver's side inner shoe was metal to metal. Passenger side okay, just really low. Purchased ceramic pads at Napa ($62) and when Orielly couldn't turn driver's side, I purchased rotor from them. Pasenger side went together no problem. Driver's side another issue. Compressed caliper piston until even caliper. Caliper was VERY tight going back on, now wheel will not turn, drags wheel out of garage. I am going to take it apart tonight, recompress caliper again, and see if it helps. Either that or the rotor is to thick, what do you think? I will measure thichness when I get it apart.

Thanks
