Pirelli Pricing Question

I have purchased a set of OEM 20's for my 2008 fx4, they came with the Pirelli Scorpion ATR's which have 7/32 tread left. Considering they start with 12/32 tread what do you feel is a fair price for a local craigs list sale? Tire rack has them listed new at $183.00.

thanks for your help...

I would post them for $450, maybe $450 OBO. Used tires are hard to sell for what they are actually worth unless they are something special like mud tires or racing tires or something like that. It would be tough to get more than $100-$125 each for them, unless you just happen to find the right buyer. You may have to lower it to $400 or $350 in a couple of weeks if there aren't any takers.

Last year when I bought my BFG's I sold mine on CL with only 5k for $300. I had them listed for $350 for about four weeks with 0 interest.

This year I bought new wheels now I'm kicking myself for selling them because I could have used them on my oem 20's for a winter set

Not trying to sound like an a$$, but honestly, the Pirelli ATR is a very low quality tire built at a price point for Ford. Most everyone on this forum knows how bad they are. But you may still be able to sell them to someone not familiar with them. What I'm trying to say is that if you get anyone to pay for them, you are coming out ahead.

no I completely agree which is why I am not going to try and sell on this fourm. I am hoping to find someone a craigslist that is just looking for a cheap tire. Thanks for the input guys I have two sets of wheels and tires and one set of tires to sell so it's time to get busy!
