I have had them about a year and a half. At a second look they may be half tread vs less than half, would need to measure to be sure. I do not have a pic at the moment but I will try to get you one.

They do well in the mud, especially considering they are not a very aggressive MT, but thats why they ride so nice and are quieter. Can not comment on the snow, we do not see too much of that, have not had any since I have owned these. Maybe this winter I can comment on that.

I have the Trail grapplers in 305/55/20 and love them. The M/T tire is a little more $, its a little louder, and do not last as long as an A/T. I knew that when I bought mine but you cant argue with the bad a$$ look and feel of a M/T. I drive off road on occassion and the Trail Gappler's are awesome. They grip soft sand and mud great. I am happy with the decision to go with the M/T since I've always wanted to go with a M/T. The down fall i have noticed is the drop in gas mileage. I have an 08 with the 5.4. I went from approx. 17 to 12 mpg. If your don't mind the extra $$ at the pump then go for it. Just my 2 cents. GOOD LUCK.

I'm at 13 before I correct the mileage due to the odometer being off because of the bigger than OEM tires. 14 after the correction.
