How would this set up look/work on a 06 FX4 with stock suspension?

V-Tec Warlord with BFG All Terrain T/A KO 285/65-18
Size: 18 x 9
Offset: -12 or +12
Backside: 4.50 or 5.5

Would the tire stick out from the fender, if so, by how much?

You will want the +12 with 5.5 inches of bs. They will still stick out an inch and a half or so more than stock. The 4.5 inches of bs would stick out even farther. U should have minimal rubbing with that setup. A 2 inch level would be relatively cheap and make your truck look a hundred times better. I have 17s with similar size (285/70/17) with before level and after level pics in my profile if u want to see what it would look like, although my wheels are only 8 inches wide.

 

A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of BS will stick out 2.5 inches farther than you stock wheel. Both will work, just depends on how far you want the wheel/tire to stick out.
