you probly have the 4r70w trans. 97-03 f150 auto trannys were 4r70w. and itll cost bout $1000-1500 for just one differential gear change (not including both diffs) if ya have a shop do it. it costs a pretty penny cuz of labor. stick with your stock gears if youre goin to 33s.

 

I think you got ripped off. I paid right at $1500 total for my front and rear gears

 

I agree with this guy, $1500 for one differential is way too much. $1500 sounds decent for both differentials.
