Tire Replacement Question

I am going to replace my 265/70/R17 tires with 245/70/R17, have an excellent deal on them. I own a F150 4X4 Extended Cab 2003. My question will the 245's affect my speedometer greatly?

Thanks

There are several good calulators to figure the difference. Some are "stickies" at the top of this forum. Here's one. You can calulate the % difference and that will tell you how much your speedometer will be off.

Looks like about 3 1/2% faster. So, when the speedometer says 70, you will be going about 67 1/2
