Need Help
I have been looking through F150online for quite a while trying to find the right set up I want for my truck, and I think I have found it but need to make sure everything will work out. I have a 2006 5.4L 2wd Scab. I plan on putting a 2" leveling kit in the front and upgrading to 305/55/20 nitto terra grapplers with 20x9 XD series Hoss in machined Black with +18mm offset (http://adaptivestrategies.com/XD_Hoss_machine-black.jpg). If you guys could answer a few questions I have, it would be a big help.
1) Will the tires and wheels fit?
2) Do you guys think the wheels would look good on my truck? here is a pic from the internet of what my truck exactly looks like http://api.cdmdata.com/ImageServer/d...6NB86332-5.jpg
3) What is the best 2" spacer I can buy? Auto Spring?
4) Are Nitto Terras a good choice?
5) when upgrading to 33s do i need to have a re-gear or do anything else to the truck?
These are all the questions I can think of off the top of my head. Please let me know your opinions and answers, anything will be great help. Thanks!

Yes, these wheels and tires will fit fine.
Just about any truck looks better without stock wheels and tires, so yes your truck will look fine.
As far as spacers go, go to ebay and just buy a $100 kit. Much cheaper
Yes, Terra Grapplers are a good choice and usually have a long tread life. Just rotate them and you will get the most out of them.
When you upgrade to 33's, re-gearing isn't necessary at all.
These pictures show -12 offset, so +18 offset will not stick out so far.

Sounds like u are well on your way to a sweet looking truck. 33s will be fine without regear. May lose a little mpg and power, but nothing that a programmer can't fix. I also went with autospring on my 4x4 in the 2 inch variety. I have the terras and they are a great all around tire. Not agressive looking at all is their downside, but with the minimal amount of off roading I do it was a good fit. On your wheel choice, they have a few more spokes than I like, but if u do, that's all that matters. Heard wheels with the large exposed bolts can be a bitch to clean.

Thanks for the replies! I also have two other question, is it necessary to upgrade the spare tire to a 33 also? and I occasionally have to tow a 21 ft boat in case of a hurricane evacuation, I should be fine except for loss of power and an awkward stance while towing, right?
On a 2wd truck, assuming you chose to NOT change the spare tire size, you would ALWAYS have to have the spare on the front. So if you ever got a rear flat, it would be a significant pain to change it. Jack it up on front, change spare to good front, then jack up rear and put former front tire on rear. Front flat, no biggie. Simple swap. You should be able to find a good used 33" spare at a tire shop near you, for $50 or so.
