Question ABS light comes on

ABS light comes on with slightest right steering input. If I shut truck off light goes out and will stay out whether I drive forwards or backwards, but ANY right steering input causes ABS light to come on. As a side note, 4x4 will not engage, either.

I had new front hubs installed 1 or 2 months ago, and I've driven the truck very little...say 3 or 4 times a week, since then. Given that it takes right steering input to trigger fault, I would guess that rear sensor is ok and the problem is somewhere up front.

what are you "bumping"????

You didn't ask a single question in your post.

Without a question there is nothing to answer.

But yes, you are probably right that its one of your front speed sensors. Have you checked them?

I was looking for a discussion on the symptoms, not specifically an answer to a narrow, and possibly incorrect question.

Possibly as simple as a bad connection at the abs plug. Have you checked it?

As MossyOak3006 said, make sure the plugs are connected tightly, make sure the cable isn't getting pinched somewhere, and if you can get to it, press down on the abs sensor on the hub to make sure it's seated correctly.

I'm having this issue as well, although my ABS light is constantly on.

My abs light was on for awhile. My wheel assembly got messed up while offroading.. Was a little too rough on my baby.. Was getting metal shavings stuck to the sensor.. Had to replace everything in the wheel well but it works fine now
