Looking to do a 6+3 and 37s on my '03 Screw. Do I go with 10" or 8.5" wide rims

Hi all
In the next 3 weeks i'm looking to install a 6+3 on my 2003 Screw Fx4. I'd like to run 37s (maybe Toyos...but still looking around).

The rims I want are the rockstars. I've seen them in 20x8.5 and 20x10 (for the 5x135 bolt pattern).

What I don't know is which width to go with. With the 10" pose problems rubbing? Or perhaps the 8.5" isn't wide enough for a 13.5" tire?

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the Rockstar specs are as follows:

20x8.5"
+10mm offset
5.14" BS

20x10"
-24mm offset
not sure on BS

Lastly I'm still searching for tires. Looking for the aggressive yet streetable (on a daily driver truck). So far Toyos look awesome. Any other suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

I have a 03 and have nitto mud grapplers on my truck. They will not last nearly as long as a set of toyos but they look mean, sound great and do amazing in every road condition. I have taken it in sand, mud, clay, snow and whatever else and never had one issue. I know your concerns may not be the same but if you want to turn heads then they definitely do the trick. They are expected to last 30-40 thousand. I would imagine mine are on that route as well.

You want a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

I agree. Wish I could have found a 10" wide wheel I liked, when I was shopping for my latest set.Choices for this bolt pattern are small, now.
