Fitment: 305/70R17 on 17x9 on 07 F150

Hey guys,

There's a set of wheels/tires on craigslist that I'm interested in for running during the winter. The tires are 305/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler MTRs and the wheels are 17x9 Eagle Alloy 187s with 4.625" backspacing.

The truck is an 07 FX4 F150 with a 2" AS level in front. Do you think I will be able to run these without a problem?

Thats almost a 34" tire, with those wheels I think you can expect some rubbing, if you are willing to do some trimming you might get away with it. Maybe someone here is running that size and can chime in.

Right. That is basically a 34x12.50 tire. They may fit but a wheel with a little more backspacing (like 5 or 5.5 inches) would be better.

That's kinda what I figured. I have a friend who runs the same size tires on his 06 without trouble, but I don't know his rim specs or if trimming has been done.
