HELP, what size tire for my BMF 20" rims?

Ok, I have done a few searches and not been able to find a definite answer. How big of a tire can I get away with? I have a 2010 F150 XLT 4x2 that is currently on stock 17" rims. I am purchasing a set of BMF 20" SERE rims with 0 offset. I plan on installing a 2.5" leveling kit on my ride. Now the question is what size of tire can I run without worrying about rub or any contact with my truck? I was told Nitto Terra Grapplers 305/55 20 should work but the sales man did not sound real positive and I don't want to have to worry about ordering the wrong size tire.

If you can find a tire that is about 34" in diameter then that would probably be the biggest you could fit without trimming. I would think you would have to trim some to fit 35's, but I'm not positive about that. My dad has a 2009 with 2.5" level spacers. His tires are just under 33" in diameter, and he's not even close to rubbing.

Since u are 2wd I think the size u stated would be about perfect. Those are close to 33x12.5. U may have slight rubbing at full crank, but maybe none. There are many converters out there. The one I like is www.1010tires/tireconversion. that will let u put original size as well and tell u the difference in the sizes and also how much your speedometer will be off.

You can fit 35's... I did it on my last 2wd with 2.5" level. But you would need to regear. You should stick with 305/55/20.

33x12.5x20 Nitto Terra on stock Ford wheels, aftermarket wheels should give you more clearance on the inside.
