ABS Module Replacement

I have a 2000 Expedition 5.4 4x4. the ABS module needs to be replaced. My question is, when removing the module do you open up to the hydralics of the system and if yes is it under pressure. Any special equipment needed to get the system up and going again.

You wont have to touch the brake lines at all. Simply remove the ABS computer from the top of the ABS pump motor control unit. It should be about 4 torx screws that hold it on the top of the main unit. Disconnect the wiring harness from the computer. Re-attach the new computer contol module and attach the wiring harness. No bleeding required. Only other advice is to disconnect the battery before -hand.

Thanks for your reply. I'm picking up the part from a wrecking yard today and will install this weekend.
