Backspacing/Offset for wheels
Is the larger the number for backspacing going to stick out more than the smaller number? Example 4.626in (Eagle Alloy 064) or 5in (Mazzi Hulks). Or does the offset make the wheels stick out more. Example -21mm (Eagle Alloy 064) or -15mm (Mazzi Hulks). I have a set of 20x10 Mazzi Hulks and I am going to get new wheels but I do not want the wheels to stick out anymore than they do now. Any help is appreciated
Offset and backspacing are two different ways of measuring the exact same thing. They start at different points and are done in different manners, but provide the exact same end result.
The smaller the backspacing, the further outboard the wheel will stick. In your scenario, the 4.626" backspacing on the Eagle sits further out than the 5" on the Mazzi, provided both wheels are the exact same width. You have to compare apples to apples.

And a positive offset will tuck the wheels in more, whereas negative will push them out farther. The backspacing is as galaxy said. The higher the backspacing the more they tuck in under the fenders.
