Problems with 20" Perelli tires

I have seen posts from the past regarding problems with 20" Perelli tires. Now it is my turn. I have a 2010 F150 Platinum with 20" Perelli tires. Now with only 25,760 miles & one year of in service use I need new tires. I have been fighting high speed vibration from the beginning & now the tires show signs of uneven wear & cupping on the inside & outside edges. Even my dealer states that these tires have been cared for as specified. Per Ford they will replace them at a prorated cost (money out of my pocket) but only the exact same tire. What the heck is that? This is unbelievable. Has anyone had the same issue recently? This sure is a crappy way to do business in my opinion. No wonder they did not take stimulus money, they stick it to the consumer.

Your version of Ford's stimulus refusal is pure hokum.

Search here and you'll see many people have complained about the stock 20" Pirelli tires. They flat spot when parked. They wear poorly. They're garbage. My stock 17" tires were crap too. Honestly you're lucky to have gotten that many miles out of the tire.

If I were you I'd look into a better tire.

I have even seen them starting to crack around the bead kinda looks like dry rotting. Look into something else.

Interesting....
my 2006 with oem 20's and pirelli's had 40k on them when I traded it in with approx 15k left to go according to the wear bars....yes I endured the flat spotting but I didn't have any other issues than that....rotated every 5k and rebalanced every 10k

At 37k on mine and only rotated at 19k (yes I know, terrible). No problems really...they are just terrible in the rain...always were from the beginning.
