tire size in mm help
tire size in mm help
I have calculated my tires 10 time and come up with numbers that is not even close. I have a edge programmer in a 02 screw. I have 315x70x17 tires can someone tell me the size in mm to enter into my programmer?
Your width of rim will affect the revolutions per mile. I put in the generic number for mine and adjusted from there. Now my speedometer matches the gps mph. 605 would be a starting point. If your speedometer reads fast change it to 610 or so, if slow change to 600. Continue adjusting till it is dead on. Here is the link.

Based on your number Jerry, I think the OP needs to post more information, which is what programmer he has and the required input. My programer ask for tire circumference in mm, so I enter 2651 into my gryphon - which is a completely different range than what you posted.
He says he has an Edge and he asks for mm, which is correct. Revolutions does not help him. 2660 allows for a 3% squish, so I would start with that and use a GPS to get it perfect. The 2651 will work as a starting point as well.

LOL, thanks I don't know how I overlooked "Edge" in his OP.
And I just flatout misread. Mine asks for revs per mile. The tire calculator will tell you mm as well. But that will just be a starting point as both squish and rim width will slightly affect the overall size of the tire.
Thanks for the help all. I had it written down somewhere but cant remember where i put it. I returned my truck back to stock because i am getting a new motor put in it and will need that number again. Thanks again for the help!
