drag radials

drag radials

i have an 01 f150 with a swapped L motor and i want to get the best hook up for my truck. I dont know what size rim and tires i should get for the rear. i want drag radials but dont know what rim size will fit i have a 5 lug. any suggestions or websites thanks

Well putting "best traction" and "drag radial" in the same sentence is the 1st problem... What kind of power are you making? Is the truck lowered or lifted? What size wheels are on it now? There are a lot of variables involved. Drag radials are low profile "sports car" style tires so just go with whatever is the widest you'd like. If you can get a 15" wheel on then Hoosier makes a 295/65/15 that would work well. The Nittos and BFGs are pretty similar and can work in just about any wheel combo you'd choose.

I'm making bout 425 and truck is lowered 2 in front and 4 in the back. I have stock 15 255s I believe on now for a stock look I just want something for the track and weekend crusin.
