Leveling Kit with 285's ???

I have a 06 supercab and have stock chrome wheels with 285/65/18 BFG A/T on it. I am thinking about adding a leveling kit (Not sure what size yet) and am looking for some pics of what it may look like, before I decide to install on my truck. I am also considering putting a M/T on when these tires wear out (which isn't long) So show your truck off with those 285's

If you plan on running 285/65/18 now and in the new tires, I would go with a 2" level.

Yeah i have 285/17/17s and a 3 inch level, your gonna want a 2-3 inch level or the wheel would suck up your entire wheel well and might even rub

I have 285/70/17 on mine which is equivalent to 285/65/18. 2 inch autospring level for me on my 06. Made it set level measured from top of tire to wheelwell. AND my driveway is definitely slanted. more pics in my profile. [IMG][/IMG]

If you don't want to deal with rubbing or anything, do the leveling kit. I've got a 2" level running 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. They're new, but I wouldn't mind going to a road-friendly M/T when I wear these down. Even with a 2" leveling kit I think I'd have to size down the tire a little to run M/T tread without rubbing when I turn.

I have 285/65/18 on my truck now with the stock chrome wheel (chrome package) I have no rubbing issues at all but I really like the look of the leveling kit but not sure how it will look with the 285's on there. Just wondering if anyone is running this set up with the stock wheels? If so please post pics. Also I am wondering if anyone is running the moto metal 951's chrome in a 18in wheel and what size tire????? Love the look of the moto wheel.

Check the thread "show off your 33" i think its something like that, thers plenty of members with tire combos. Your tire is already a 33 now, IMO any level bigger than 1.5 u should go with 34 or 35"

I just put on 33" tonight, no level but i dont have a bad rake either

I have 2" leveling kit with 325/60/18 bfg ats. The only rubbing is on the inside control arm but thats only if you try to cut it hard.
