While looking around for new tires, i came across coopers new S/T maxx and havent heard anything about them. Does anyone have these or know how good of an AT they are?

 

They seem to look ok. A Very new tire, introduced at this past year's SEMA show replacing their ST-C cut/chip resistant tire. Very limited sizing as well, same as the ST-C. A/T3 looks to be replacing the ATR.

I just ordered a set of the Cooper ST Maxx to replace my Nitto Terra Grappers. Tires should be here in a couple of days. The grapplers have been great tires. I just wanted something a little more agressive without alot of noise. Guess I'll find out in a couple of days if the ST Maxx fits my needs.

The St Maxx are on. This time I went with a 275x70x18. Had 285x65x18 Nittos. The look of the tire is what I was looking for. These tires make a little more noise then the Terra Grapples, but nothing too loud. Ride is smooth. Haven't had the opportunity to test how well the tread cleans out or wet road traction.
