Another TPMS question?

So guys I know this has been beat to death but I'm pulling the trigger on some rims this week and I don't really want to fork out the extra cash for the new bands. Now my question is what will all happen if I don't put them in? I know there will be a light on in the dash but I guess I was wondering if the 2010 f150 did anything else different and or more annoying that would force me to pay for the new bands?

You do not have bands. Yours are valve stem mounted. All you would need to do is get a set of valve stems that accept the sensors. You should be able to get a full set for under $30.

Suggestion where they can be had for $30 a set? I've come up with naught that low.

I am not talking the sensors, but the valve stems to mount them. All he needs is the valve stems, and move the sensors. The valve stems are like $7 at Tasca. At not sure, but that might even be a set.

I have a 2010 and ask the dealer last month and they said that I have the bands. Of course that was just a service manager. Maybe I should ask someone back that actually works on tires.

Your service manager hasn't a clue. Take your VIN and visit the guy at the parts counter. Have him look up the specific sensor against the VIN. He's going to tell you that you have a valve stem mounted sensor. Bands went out with the end of MY08.
