will this fit?

Ok, I am putting a roughcountry 2.5" suspension lift with a 1" block for the rear on this weekend to level the truck out.

I am ready to press the order button......

XD series Chrome Monster 22 X 9.5 with 18mmm offset
Nitto Trail Grapplers LT285/55-22

will this fit with the lift, i am ok with minor trimming if necessary but i dont want to have to butcher the whole truck

i have a 2009 screw 2wd

should i drop back down to 20" wheels instead?

34.3x11.2 =285x55/22

Should fit but 22" or 20" will not be the issue. You can run a 24" rim if you are ok with running low pro tire. Its the tire size you may need to adjust if there is a problem with rubbing.

Do u do much off road driving at all? If so the more sidewall the better off u will be. I have the terra grapplers and they are good tires at a pretty inexpensive cost. Would also recommend them. Your choice on if u want a mud terrain or all terrain. Muds are louder, more expensive and generally get a little worse gas mileage, and wear out faster but they do excel in the mud or off-road and look better. Here's a link to the terra grapplers. they have lots of different 20 inch sizes. http://www.nittotire.com/functions/t...=terragrappler

no off roading here, i was actually going more for the look. i wanted the truck to sit higher than stock and look good, due to the flooding we get here in New Orleans. i also mainly need a tire that will handle well on wet surfaces and in low flooding water.....i am considering going back to the 20" Fuel Octanes and put a 33" tire on it.....just thought the 22" might look badass.
