Torn
Alright...so with my 2011 FX4 being built next week, I am trying to get mods lined up for the minute I get it home. I already have my 2" AS level kit. I had made up my mind that I was going to go with 285/60/20 tires (33.5x11.5x20). Then I saw some 285/65/20 BFG ATs on a new model F-150, and I like the look. But that tire is around 34.5x11.5x20. I do not really want to go that tall. My dilema now is do I want to stick with the 285/60/20s or get a little more height while sacrificing width with a 275/65/20 (34x11x20). With the 20" rim, I am kinda leaning towards the 275 now...so I can get more sidewall "meat". Only thing is..I don't want them to look too skinny/narrow. I believe stock F-250 4x4s come with 275/65/20s...maybe I should try to take a look at one and see if I like it. I know it is only a half an inch either way...but these tires will likely last 3-4 years, and I don't want to regret my decision. Thanks for any opinions/advice!

Stopped by a local lot today. I like the way the stockers look on the F-250/350 4x4 with the 20" rims. 275/65/20. I think I would rather have height than width. I had 35x12.5x18 on my last rig, and I don't want to go that big this time. For one...gas mileage...2...power...3...EcoBoost...4...3.73s...5 ...my 8,000lb. boat. And last but not least, I have decided to go with GoodYear DuraTracs...so the two sizes I was trying to decide between, are really the only two I was considering. Can anyone tell me if the stock F-250 20s are wider than the F-150 20s?
