Time for some new rims!

Im looking at new rims im pretty much set one the xd spy wheels. I just bought new tires so I plan on sticking with 17in. I have a leveling kit on it and am running 285/70R17. My only problem is should I get 17x8 with 18 offset or 17x9 with -12 offset? I want them to stick out a little bit but not to much that it looks dumb. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

17x9 would give it a great stance

the 17x9 with the -12 offset has a backspcing of 4.5" i belive so it would stick out like 2.5" more than stock. the 17x8 will be about an inch more than stock

The 17x8 has 5.15in of bs. I cant find the specs for the 17x9.

I think the 17x9s would stick out to far for me. I think the 17x8 would be a better choice. What do you guys think.

IMO, I think the 17x8 would look and fit better.

I have 17x8 with 25mm offset and 5.43 inches of bs. They are pretty flush with the fenders. I would recommend the 8 inch wide unless u plan on going to a 12.5 inch wide tire in the future. Most 12.5 inch wide tires recommend 8.5 as being the minimum width. Thats the only reason I would go with the nine.

Well I dont plan on buying new tires anytime soon since they only have 4000 miles on them. So i think 17x8 will work
