help for a friend

Got a question for you tire gurus, My friend is looking to by some new rims and tires for his 2004 F-150 lariat. It has the Skyjacker 3" lift on it and he is looking at some 34" or 295/70/18 terra grapplers. The rims he is looking at are 18x9 with a -12mm offset and 4.5" backspaciing, will these rub? Should he be looking for a rim with maybe 5" backspacing with like a 0mm offset for example? He also has bushwacker fender flares which is why he is looking for something that sticks out a bit versus stock. Any help is appreciated..

Cheers
VF

It will be tight but should fit. That wheel will stick out 2.5 inches farther than his OEM wheels. One with 5 inches of BS will only stick out 2 inches farther, but would be a better fit.

hey man, let me know what rims youre looking at...i have a friend who works for a wheel distributor and he can get em pretty cheap compared to online sites. Ill also see if he can work on a quote for the nittos if youd like. he can usually beat places like tirerack and discount tire and free shipping on all products since they have volume discounting.
