Question Wheels and Tires

I have been trying to find this out for two weeks. I want the BFG All-Terrain/KO, but I don't know what size will fit on a F-150 01' XLT Standard Cab 4x4 with the stock 17" rims. What I really what is at least 31x10.5's, but if I could put larger than that that would be cool to. I tried getting info from some the service shops in town, but no luck. Does anybody out there now what the largest tire I can put on these rims without rubbing. If I have to have the speedometer recalibrated then I will.

Thanks for any info,

Alan J. Felty

bfg at ko's only come in 265/70/R17 which is roughly 31x10.5's.. or you can get a 37x12.5/R17.. but that's way too big without some major lifts

Pro Comp has a 33x12.5 R17 that would probally fit. National tire and wheel has the At for $170 and MT for $190. They got a buy three get one free deal goin on this month. Might be something to think about.

Question confused

eixster, I was just looking at the BFG tire website and they do not list any tires in 305/75/17. I found a 35x12.5 for the 17 inch rim but that was a baja T/A tire, not the at/ko. All the other tires, larger than 265/70 or 31x10.5, are only available for 16.5 or 16 in rims. If you have pictures, i would love to see them as I would love to put the 305/75's on my truck. Let me know, Thanks. Eric

I am sorry, I made a mistake, you are right the tires are in a 16 or 16.5. I was looking at 16 and not 17.......Miller time came early yesterday.....
