I've worn out the search option here!!!!!

I'm looking for people with actual experience with any of the following tires:

Kelly Safari ATR
Cooper Discoverer ST
Cooper Zeon LTZ
Falken Wild Peak AT
Falken High Country AT
Firestone Desination AT
Goodyear Silent Armor
Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo
Nitto Terra Grappler

I would really like mud terrain tires, but they don't seem to make many in the I'm interested in. I would like something around 33X11.5.

I've been looking for months and think I've decided on getting 275/60/20 tires. I would like an aggressive tire, but I do drive mostly on the road. I have a stock height 2006 4x4 screw lariat with a 5.4, 3:55 gears, and a gryphon programmer.

I currently, have Toyo Open Country AT in 305/55/20. I do not want that wide of a tire and no longer want any problems with rubbing.

I would like a LT type tire because I haul a lot, including a 1000LB atv and I tow a twenty foot boat in all weather conditions(Fishing and Waterfowl Season).

Any input or pictures would be appreciated.

Ok i have had the terra grapplers,,,,good tires. I now have 295x70x17 Toyo mud tires,,great tires. the Toyos are a little more expensive but worth imo. They are 33.5x11.50,,perfect size. Just my $.02.

I have Terra grapplers and am happy with them. Drive 40 miles per day round trip so a mud terrain is not ideal for me. These have held up fine with going off road for camping and parking for unloading the four wheeler. U need to assess how much off roading u really do or just like the look. Mud terrains clearly look meaner but the wear, worse mileage, and cost were not worth it to me. All depends on your personal wants or needs. Read not so good review on falken high country. Just Google the tires and read reviews to see what best meets your needs.

Thanks for the info so far guys. I think my biggest problem is that I have the20 inch wheels. They dont make a lot of the mud/aggressive tires under the 33x12.5x20. I probably would have already decided on the Toyo MT or Nitto Trail Grapplers.

I had the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos and they were amazing in rain, dry, light snow, never took them into deep mud. My dad has the Cooper S/T on his hunting truck and seem to do pretty well in snow, that's about the only time we get to use them. A bit more of a block tread than the BFG A/T which is nice. What about the Goodyear Duratrac they are more of the A/T M/T hybrid and have been getting decent reviews on here. Another to consider is the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10, they have been getting good reviews as well.

have you considered a 295/55/20 Trail grapps. its almost a 33...and 11.4 wide. and the terra grapps come in the size you state above. they are a good tire IMO. also as you stated you do mostly highway, then an all terrain will suit you better unless you want a MT. The TG's are a pretty aggressive AT. Probably not as much as the Mickey Thompson AT, but cheaper anyway

I have the Cooper LTZ in 275/60/20. Overall I am very happay with the tire. As an AT goes it is as good as any out there off road. Very quiet for an AT tire and it does extremely well on the street.

I am on my second set though due to a cracking issue in the sidewall with my prior set. Cooper stepped up and took care of it for me but I do know of a few others that had the same problem.

Very good tire at great price.

I thought I was set on the Trail Grapplers in 295/55/20, until I found out they are actually 33x12.5x20. I know the 295/55/20 converts to 33x11.4 but nitto's website lists them at 33/12.5 and I found a picture of one online. The sidewall actually reads 12.5 wide.

I will check for sizes on the goodyear Duratrac and dynapros as well as read some of the reviews.

Any experience with the Cooper ST's in the rain?

I really like the look and price of the Zeon LTZ's, but the cracking reviews concerned me as well as only being P rated. Not sure how much of a role that plays when towing or hauling.

Again, Thanks for all of the input. It is appreciated.

I have the Goodyears, love them. I have maybe 40k on them and they look like they'll go plenty more. I would have a hard time going with anything else, but want a bigger size which they don't offer, like a 295/7/17.
