Need brakes

I need new brakes so I started doing research for rotor and pad kits. I looked into the brake motive kits but I didn't find any on eBay for my 07 2wd screw so I emailed them and they said they didn't have any. So i need suggestions on other kits that you guys have tried. I have done some research on the powerslot rotors with hawk pads but I'm looking for other recommendations.

Just wondering why you need the kit as opposed to buying separate parts? I've not done rotors on my truck yet, only 42k on my '07. I did the front pads with Wagner TQs and and very pleased. With the coupon code at Advance Auto and the Wagner mail-in-rebate, you can get pads for the front for around 17 bucks, same for the rear. PM me if you need more info. Heard good things about Hawk though.

Don't really need a kit but I do want to upgrade the rotors for better stopping power. I have read a ton on here about the Wagners and like what I hear. So I would be happy with those probably and some upgraded rotors. Any recommendations on rotors?

If you order them at Advance Auto, you can pick them up in store. Add the pads to your cart and use coupon code A123. It would actually save you $10 bucks if you did a separate order for the front and back (coupon is $20 off $50, or $30 off $100). Then send in the rebate form for $30 back. Might want to call and ask if you have them on different receipts, if you can still submit them on one rebate.

Go to www.retailmenot.com and search for Advance Auto coupons. I think BIG40 is $40 off $100, BIG35 is $35 off $85, etc.

I just did mine this weekend, i went with the Centric hub / rotor combo for the 2wd so i could loose the OEM rotor/hub combo and have a *4x4* like setup on the front. I went with wagner tq pads front and back as well as wagner rotors for rear.

Bought all parts from rockauto shipped was just under $600.00.

What was the part number on the Centric kit? I'll probably be going this route but I might get other rotors.

here you go, a created a wish list cart with all parts.. they do sell the hub by itself for like 85 bucks if you would rather do that and then get what ever rotors you want.

Finally got my Centric hub kit in. Can anyone tell me what size socket the retaining nut takes? I do not have on that will fit it so I need to buy one.

Thanks. Picked up a torque wrench and socket and plan on doing the job tonight, and will be returning said torque wrench and socket to the store tomorrow.
