Looking to get bigger tires on stock wheels...

I know this has been asked before but i see a mix of answers so im not 100% sure about it...right now i have stock p265/70/17 tires on my 2008 f150...im looking to get either lt295/70/17 or even a lt305/70/17...i am going to have a 2.5" leveling kit installed either way...but just wanted to make sure the 305's would fit if i decided to go that route..also my buddy has a 2003 f250 with lt265/65/16's would he have any problem running a lt305/70/16 without any leveling kit or anything...any help aprreciated thanks!

You will both be fine, if you have 4x4's.

I have a 305x70 on an aftermarket 17x8 offset is +10. 2" leveling kit, no rub at all.

Post pics, but as far as your buddy goes, look into 315/75/16 Firestone Destination M/T'S or something. I've seen them on a truck, maybe it had the Heavy Duty suspension or something but looked great.

Here are what 295/70/18s on factory wheels look like. These are a little taller than what you are looking at, but not much. Essentially you will have the same tire with a little more sidewall. No clearance issues with 2.5 AS kit.
