The OEM wheels are 7.5 inches wide. You can run 305's on them, but it's pushing the limit as most tire manufacturers recommend an 8 to 10 inch wide wheel for there 305mm wide tires.
An 18x9 inch wheel will work fine. How much farther it sticks out than your OEM wheels will depend on their backspacing. Most will have 5 inches of BS (which will stick out 2 inches farther) or 4.5 inches of BS (which will stick out 2.5 inches farther than your stock wheels).

I currently have these stock rims on my truck:

I'm looking to get:
Eagle Alloy Rims series 079 6-lug 18x9 rims
My tires are goodyear wrangler LT275/65/R18.
Is there anything to be concerned about? Would these new rims work?
Thanks,
Andy
