Question 07 F150 XLT 4x4 Brake/rotor job

HI every one new member here, and first time doing my own brake job after i was told it would be $1,400 for new pads and rotors!!! OUCH!!!! I read the post by 07fx4chick and have a good idea of what i need to do.(https://www.f150online.com/forums/wh...s-04-08-a.html) I have a few questions for you guys, i was looking to get Raybestos rotors and Raybestos ceramic pads from rock auto, i looked at the professional and advanced technology stuff they had has anyone used them? and its it worth spending the extra money for the advanced technology rotors and pads. i don't do much towing maybe 3 times a year and i don't drive to hard (i baby my truck a little). and once i get the new rotors and the old ones off is there anything that i need to check or be concerned with ex.do i have to check for runout? what do i have to watch out for or can i just take everything off and but it back together?

Thanks for the help

You will find that pretty much everyone on this site will recommend Wagner Thermoquiets and Power Slot Rotors. (Pads purchased from Advance Auto; offering a $30 Money back rebate at the moment too!!))
Others might lean towards EBC brakes (which I have used in the past with great results)
