Quick question

2006 Xlt 4x4 I just got new tires 265 70 17
Now looking for rims what I want is a black rim
As close to the oem fit as I can get.
What size and bs would I be looking for.
To keep the same look as oem?

Thanks

Your OEM wheels are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing.

An 8" wheel with 5 1/2 inches of BS is a s close as you're going to get.

So it is just as it seems 1/2 for rim and 1/4 for back space?
Was not sure if the 1/2 wider rim would equal 1/2 more on outside of wheel well or if it would equal 1/4 on inside and 1/4 on outside. Not sure if that made any sense.

Backspace is backspace. It is measured from the back of the wheel to the mounting flange. Doesn't matter if it is 10" wide or 2".

Offset figures are where you will get different numbers (one of those being changing backspace)

I am trying to find a 17 rim that will not stick out much more than stock but most are 8-9 inch wide with 5.25 backspacing so my best bet looks like 8 inch wide with 5.25 bs can find almost none that are 7.5 wide.

Thanks for you guys help

Not to beat this to death I found some rims I like moto metal 957 they are 17x9
4.53 bs and -12 offset

First question, I can mount my 265x70 on them ok right.
And how much farther out of the wheel well will they stick out?
I just don't like that skate board look some trucks have

Many thanks this is the first set of rims I have ever bought.
