Please forgive the Noob Tire/Wheel Question

I have been sifting through the site for days now and I have been looking at all these tire and wheel combinations that people are talking about having on their trucks and whether they rub or not. I am in the same boat. Just bought my first truck, 2007 SCREW Lariat 4x4. It is bone stock at this point other than the Amp Research Powersteps I lucked out and found 2 days after purchase on craigslist for $500. I do not want a lift at this point, just a leveling kit. I am looking to put BFG TA KO or Nitto Terra Grapplers with 18x9 XD Cranks on it. Looking around the range of 33x12.50 or equivalent metric sizing for the best price. My brain is jumbled with all the information I have seen in here. Can anyone please tell me what size tires I should go with to avoid rubbing with an without a 2" leveling kit. Oh...and the XD Cranks are 0 offset with 5mm backspacing. Sorry again for the Noob question. You assistance is greatly appreciated.

I had a 2in leveling kit with stock 20's on 31x10.50 terra grapplers and I rubbed a tiny bit only on sharp turns. And don't be concerned about asking questions, everyones pretty cool on this website, and just remember, we were all stock at one point.

You should be able to get away with 33's without a level, not 100% about that since its with aftermarket wheels. But, with a 2in level 33's would fit fine.

IBeAMudDigger must have had a typo.
I'd suggest a 305/60-18 which is essentially a 33x12.50 tire or a 325/60-18 which is basically a 33x13.00 tire. The latter is a more common size. Those will fit great with a leveling kit. Also, I believe you mean the BS is 5 inches, not millimeters.

Thanks for the catch! Had typed that one up on my phone, meant to put 31x12.50.

Thank you everyone for the assistance. Wandell, you are correct, I did mean 5 inch BS. Wouldn't you know that I would find the following in one of your previous conversations just before i checked back for any replies:

"The 325/60-18's are a little too wide for the oem 18x7.5 inch wheels. They will look and fit great on your truck with a 18x9 inch aftermarket wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing."

I am new to this site, but I am loving the amount of knowledgable people on here. I am sure I will have more questions. Thanks again.
