Brake issue
Brake issue
My front rotors are warped and my ABS light comes on after about five minutes of driving (front drivers side sensor, having it replaced soon under warranty). Anyway, on occasion, when applying brakes, I can feel the pedal vibrate as if I'm sliding on ice. However, this happens on dry roads and sometimes prior to the ABS light even coming on. It's happened twice in the last week.
Is it due to the ABS not working properly or do I have another issue? Any insight would be great.
Thanks in advance!

its probably the bad sensor... ABS thinks the wheel is locked up and activates. Eventually the ABS module determines the sensor is bad and deactivates it (and your light comes on)
Get the sensor fixed and then see if its better.

I'll do that. Thank you!
I am experiencing the the same issues as above! Can someone please explain where exactly the sensor is located? How can you determine which side is bad? There is a sensor on each caliper right? Are these sensors spendy?
The sensors are about $130 each. You can bring it to a dealer or anyone that can read abs codes. Itll say which one is bad. My dealer read it free. I'm sure most would do the same.
And the sensor's are in fact located on the caliper?
